Do I have to install the light strip on a specific side of the TV?

Yes, in order to get the best experience, you must install the light strip starting from the top left corner when facing the front of the TV and work your way down and around the TV. The calibration will work best when installed like this.

How do I get the best experience from the Aura TV Backlight?

Performing the calibration accurately is THE BIGGEST FACTOR for the TV backlight to react well with colors on the screen. Make sure you put the calibration points right on the edge of the TV. Do not put it outside of the TV, or too inside of the TV.

How long does it take to install the Aura TV Backlight?

From box open to light strip install takes less than 5 minutes. Creating an account and setting up the device in the app will take another 5 minutes. The process is very simple and you’ll have guides on the app and QSG. We are also here to help!

Why does my TV backlight sometimes show inaccurate colors or mismatched lighting?

Color mismatch can happen if the camera is off-center, lights are on in the room or nearby objects reflect on the screen. For best results, keep the area around the TV clear during setup and use, and complete in-app calibration.
